On the first day of this year’s event, with its record-breaking sales performance, it became the highest one-day sales in Amazon history. For Amazon third-party sellers, this year’s event is also the biggest Prime Member Day to date. In this year’s event, the sales growth of Amazon’s global third-party sellers exceeded Amazon’s self-operated business.
From the perspective of commodity sales, household items, fashion products and beauty care products are the most popular. Among them, Fire TV stick, LANEIGE lipstick, Apple AirPods and Bissell Little Green portable deep cleaner are the best-selling products. Prime members have also purchased millions of Alexa-enabled devices, including the Fire TV Stick (3rd generation) and Alexa voice remote control, which are the best-selling products of Amazon in the world.
It is worth mentioning that Amazon has provided more preferential opportunities for small businesses on Prime Membership Day this year than before. On the first day of the event, the average daily sales of small businesses such as Caraway, True Classic and TUSHY in Amazon Store increased by more than 18 times compared with that before Prime Member Day in 2023.
In general, the daily purchase orders of merchants participating in Prime Member Day increased by 10 times during the event, and the daily income of these orders increased by 8 times compared with the month before Amazon announced Prime Member Day.
